Life & the Universe according to Patrick Moore

Astronomer Sir Patrick Moore presented the “Sky At Night” TV programme since 1957 and was the longest serving television series presenter in the world at the time of the record breaking 700th episode of the programme in spring 2011. He was also author of over 70 books, including a relatively recent “Data Book of Astronomy” - an encyclopaedic life’s work, full of facts about our solar system, galaxy and the wider universe.

In view of the publication of this book, and Sir Patrick having lived through so many landmark events in astronomy and space exploration, it seemed an opportune moment to meet the man in person and discuss his life, the universe and more. Length 18 mins.
