Life & the Universe according to Patrick Moore

Astronomer Sir Patrick Moore has been presenting the “Sky At Night” TV programme since 1957 and is the longest serving television series presenter in the world. A record breaking 700th episode was celebrated in spring 2011. Sir Patrick is also author of over 70 books, including his most recent “Data Book of Astronomy” an encyclopaedic life’s work, full of facts about our solar system, galaxy and the wider universe.

In view of the publication of this book, and Sir Patrick having lived through so many landmark events in astronomy and space exploration, it seemed an opportune moment to meet the man in person and discuss his life, the universe and more. Length 18 mins.
