Using this site

To listen to the features on this site, click on one of the listen icons. If you have a broadband connection to the internet, click on the broadband icon. If you use a dial-up connection, click on the dial-up icon. Audio files can be downloaded in full by clicking on the download buttons.

Podcasts

Podcasting is a way of delivering audio files to your computer automatically that can then be transfered to your IPOD or MP3 player. Free software can enable you to select from thousands of podcasts to make your own programming. To set up a podcast receiver on your computer why not Google "Download Podcast Receiver". Once installed, open the programme and select feeds from a list or enter the feed URL in the box.

Troubleshooting

Stuttering Audio:
If the audio stutters or pauses periodically then your internet connection is probably too slow. Make sure that you aren't downloading anything else at the same time or try playing the dial-up version.

No Player Available:
If your browser reports that there is no application which can open the file you can try installing an MP3 player.
For Windows, try Windows Media Player, RealPlayer (a free version is available), Winamp or Sonique. For Mac, iTunes. For Linux, XMMS or Totem.
