Journey Towards Forgiveness

Jo Berry has made a remarkable journey. She is the daughter of Sir Anthony Berry who was killed in 1984, along with four others in Brighton, by a bomb during the Conservative party conference. In recent years Jo has met the ex IRA man who planted the bomb. Her initial meetings with Patrick Magee were filmed and screened in a BBC “Everyman” documentary in 2001 called “Facing the Enemy.”

In this interview Jo shares her story and explains how she came to take the courageous steps that led to healing and understanding. And she talks about why she strives for a world in which conflict is resolved without violence, where peace and justice can be achieved for all. Length 46 mins.
