In Praise of Slow
Carl Honore is a journalist who grew up in Canada and spent some time as a foreign correspondent. Whilst pursuing an everyday hectic lifestyle he became aware of a personal need to put on the breaks. Carl discovered that he was not alone and his book “In Praise of Slow” explores how a worldwide movement is challenging the cult of speed. The handbook investigates how the world got so fast and illustrates the benefits of deceleration.
Here Carl talks about the first hand experiences that shaped his journey of self discovery. Length 30 mins.
