Jackie Carpenter is an engineer and environmentalist. She is president of the Women’s Engineering Society. And together with her late partner Ian Daycock, she founded the charity Energy 21 whose mission is to unite action for renewable energy. When he was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2000 Jackie embraced it as an opportunity.

Jackie talks positively and movingly about her partner Ian’s death, seeing it as a process, not an event, and shares something of her passion for a more sustainable world. Length 32 mins.
