Rise Phoenix are a London based charity which, since 1994 has enabled professional artists to work with disadvantaged children and young people in the UK and abroad. Established in response to the crisis in the Balkans, it aims to educate, inspire and entertain these young people by encouraging their participation in the arts, thus empowering them to deal with the various issues that confront them wherever they are.

Jig Cochrane and Jane Riddiford talk about how this work has made an impact on lives of young children and the exciting project involving Tanzania undertaken in collaboration with the Jane Goodall Institute. Length 20 mins.
