Fighting for the Future of Farming

Robin Maynard has the countryside in his blood. He has worked as senior Countryside and Agriculture Campaigner at Friends of the Earth and has been Campaigns Director at the Soil Association, in addition to spending a short spell hosting BBC Radio’s Farming Today programme.

As well as being a regular columnist for the Ecologist magazine, Robin is now involved with fighting for a real future for farming, as National Co-ordinator of the organisation FARM. Here, he shares why he passionately believes that agriculture offers the most viable long-term future for farming, food production and the countryside. Length 20 mins.
